Dr. Meloni is an Associate Professor Emeritus of English as a Foreign Language at the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

She is the Editor of the Culture Club for the National Capital Language Resource Center housed at the George Washington University.

She is an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Virginia, where she teaches a hybrid writing course to non-native speakers of English. This hybrid course meets face-to-face in a traditional classroom as well as online in cyberspace.
